I followed a basketball team for a weekend - Kongsberg Miners - 4K

This weekend, I joined the local basketball team in Kongsberg, namely the Kongsberg Miners, on a weekend trip to Trondheim, where they played a double-header against Nidaros Jets, one of the basketball teams in Trondheim. The journey began at 5 AM on Saturday morning, driving from Kongsberg to Gardermoen, Oslo's airport. The flight departed at 8:55, and we landed in Trondheim at 9:50. From there, we headed to downtown Trondheim, checked into the hotel, and had lunch. The first game against Nidaros Jets started at 3:00 PM, and we arrived at Spektrum Stadium about an hour before for preparations. After two not-so-good first periods, the team stepped up their game in the last two periods and defeated Nidaros Jets with a score of 59-94. The evening concluded with a good dinner at Egon, and for my part, editing this video throughout the evening and night. The next day, Sunday, we woke up to fresh snow in the city center, transforming Trondheim into a winter wonderland. The same routine as the previous day, arriving an hour before at the stadium for new preparations to face Nidaros Jets in the second game. The game turned out to be quite similar to the first one. Two poor periods where the opponents had too many chances and points. However, the team once again stepped up and outplayed Jets in the last two periods, winning 69-100. After a delayed taxi to the airport and a delayed flight from Oslo, we landed around 11:30 PM. Heavy snowfall in Oslo made driving conditions a bit challenging on the way home. A quick pit stop at Max Burger in Lier and a late dinner resulted in the trip ending around 1:30 AM. This video was made by me (Itseriksen/Sondre Eriksen Hensema), for Kongsberg Miners. I bought the Sony ZV-E1, to cover my workflow

Two weeks ago, I decided to make an effort on YouTube. Going forward, my goal is to create more content about my work weeks and what I do in my free time, particularly focusing on film and photography. As a result of this decision, I purchased one of Sony's latest full-frame vlog cameras. You can read more about it here: Link to the camera During the past two weeks at work, I have been involved in various projects. However, the two that I have covered are product photography for Elfo Subsea and a team introduction video for the Kongsberg Miners. The video we filmed for the Kongsberg Miners was done over a period of more than two weeks. We started by filming at "løkka" with children from the younger basketball teams of the Kongsberg Miners. Afterward, we also filmed inside the Silver Mines here in Kongsberg. This was something quite special and in very challenging lighting conditions. Both the FX3 and ZV-E1 were set to ISO 12800 for this shoot. We wrapped up the week by filming an evening training session, during which we also took the team photo for the 2023 squad. On Sunday, I attended their opening game against the Nidaros Jets. Filming during a basketball game was an entirely new experience, with fast movements and a high tempo that put both the FX3 and ZV-E1's autofocus to the test, and they certainly delivered excellent results! It's a day well spent - Spending a day in a nature park filming animals - 4K

Since I canceled my trip to Tromsø, I had to come up with something else to do on my day off from work. And it's always nice to visit Bjørneparken. I took the trip over and got to enter the park 1 hour before opening time. I spent the first few hours with the wolves and got some good clips of Isak and Iglo. These are two wolves that can be quite shy, and in the winter, they rarely come down from the top of the wolf enclosure. After that, I spent some time with the lynxes, and Flora was the first to come out. She is their oldest lynx, now 14 years old. I was allowed to enter and take some nice close-up pictures of her. They also have a new lynx named Smilla, who is just over 1 year old. Following that, I witnessed the feeding of the Amur Leopards Igor and Zino. The Amur Leopard is one of the world's most endangered big cats, with just over 100 individuals left in the wild. Here at Bjørneparken, these two brothers are part of a conservation program to strengthen the species. At the end of the day, I went inside and visited the foxes. There are now only 3 left, Frederik, Filip, and Fia. These are some of the most beautiful foxes I've seen, and it's always a pleasure to see them again, especially in the winter when they have grown a proper and fluffy coat.
